On Saturday, Dallas' Only Daily (aka The Dallas Morning News) ran an article
about Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders reiterating her suggestion to study
the legalization of drugs as a way of alleviating some of the violence in
the US.

In the photo at the head of the article, Ms. Elders looked self-assured
and determined.  Of course, this could have been a stock photo, but at
least the impression given was not that of a beleaguered public servant
who was in trouble for sticking her foot in her mouth.

The article briefly mentioned the arrest of Ms. Elders son, saying it had
occured shortly after her initial pronouncement on the subject.
