Credit cards with rebates

Here is a list of credit card programs where the card issuer gives you some
kind of rebate or something extra for using their card:

AT&T "Something Extra": Collect points for free and discounted items.

Chase Manhattan "Cash Builder": 1% back on net sales of at least $200, 10%
back on finance charges. Rebate mailed when amount reaches $500 or three
years have passed. (Nothing like instant gratification :-) )

Fidelity Investor Card: 1% of purchases is rebated to a Fidelity savings
account earning money market rates.

GE Rewards Mastercard: .5% to 2% rebate and coupons for discounts at selected
retailers.

Shell Mastercard: Earn 2% on purchases up to $70 toward Shell gas.

Schwab Visa: Credit of 1% toward investor literature and services. 2% during
special promos.

Nordstrom Visa: 1 - 5% rebates good toward Nordstrom purchases.

Nationsbank Start: 1% back on first $1000 of spending. 3% on next $1000. 6%
on everything over $2000. Rebate money held in escrow, and can be transferred
after reaching $100 to an annuity or cash. CAll 800-60START. THIS SOUNDS
LIKE AN UNBELIEVABLE DEAL, IMHO.

Dean Witter Discover: .25% to 1% back.

Ameritech/Household Bank: 10% back on calling card charges.

GTE/Associates National Bank: 10% back on calling card, plus travel credits.

US West/U.S. Bank: 1% on card purchases. 2% on calling card.

Citibank Ford: 5% rebate toward Ford cars.

GM Mastercard: 5-10% back toward GM car.
