                     File Requester Help File

   The "file.request@backdrop.com" service has been designed to fill
a specific need: to help people who are looking for a specific file,
story, or a chapter, or a section of a story.

   "file.request@backdrop.com" is provided as a free service by the
Staff of The BackDrop Club to any member of the InterNet community.

   Although this service is provided on a voluntary, time available
basis without charge, it does have costs. Due to the high amount of
traffic, we currently limit each person to two file request per day.
If you are looking to create/build a library, try logging on to one
of your local BBS's (or ours) or look into purchasing a CD-ROM.

   We are not an FTP site: we act as an Archiving BBS. We download
and store thousands of files from books, UseNet Groups, CD-ROMS's,
Authors, books and magazines, and other BBS's.

  We currently have over 450,000 files available for "E-mail FTP".
Our catalog file is dynamic and is currently over 9.2 Megabytes so
we do not publish an "AllFiles.ZIP" of ALL the files available. We
have six directory/file listings available for on-line download:
        Drive-G.ZIP -- Stories, utilities, faq's, etc
        Drive-H.ZIP -- Bondage and X Rated Pictures
        Drive-I.ZIP -- R-Rated Pictures
        Drive-J.ZIP -- Bondage & Private Photo Collection
        Drive-K.ZIP -- R-Rated Pictures
        Drive-L.ZIP -- Bondage and X Rated Pictures
        CDROMINF.TXT - Information about ordering CD-Roms.

   We have also compiled these files into six 600M CD-Roms.  For
more info on these CD's, send e-mail to file.request@backdrop.com,
with CDROMINF.TXT as the only word on the Subject line. Preferably,
you may anonymous login at ftp.backdrop.net then download files and
information directly.     (Do not forget to set type to binary!)

If for some reason you cannot FTP these files, send e-mail message
to file.request@backdrop.com with the name of the file followed by
the word "PLEASE" on the "SUBJECT:" line. (This is important!) The
word "PLEASE" indicates you desire some type of human intervention
instead of having our auto-responder handle your request.

(If the file you are requesting is an adult file, pleaseinclude an
"I'm an adult" statement in the body of the message.)

   If you know the name of the file you wish, send a request using
the following format:

   Otherwise, send e-mail to the same address, but give as much
information as you can about the file (author, first line of text,
file size, creation date, or any other information available) in
the body of the message, and use the following format:

  Besides the usual news, story, picture and catalog files, several
special interest files about our bbs and club are listed below:

Direct access can also be made by calling our BBS @ 415-964-3100.
Although our board is not a "free bbs", we do allow people a chance
to log on and "check out" our board. (We also have several free file
and message conferences.)
