                        WEST COAST MUSIC REVIEW

                        an electronic magazine

A review magazine of new music with a world-wide perspective and a `west
coast' slant. Recent issues have included interviews with Michelle Wright,
Billy Cowsill, Patricia Conroy, Gary Fjellgaard, Tom Northcott and
award-winning producer/engineer Bill Buckingham. As well as concert
reviews of acts like Frank Black. We review some interesting and revealing
books on the music industry like Fredric Dannens's "Hit Men".

Recent CD reviews range from major label acts like Willie Nelson, Lenny
Kravitz, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Mariah Carey, En Vogue, Emmylou
Harris, Sting, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sloan, Pearl Jam and Sean
Colvin... to good independent and alternative releases like Lisa Brokop,
The Reverend Horton Heat, The Roosters, UHF, Roy Forbes, JR. Gone Wild and
John Prine. Quite a bit of New Age, some jazz stuff like Skywalk, New
Orchestra Workshop, Mingus re-issues, Brubeck's boxed set. And
occasional children's product like Charlotte Diamond and Fred Penner.

Designed for the reader who is shopping around for worthwhile product,
WCMR does not spend a lot of time slagging the dogs, we simply don't
  recommend them.

magazine of science fiction and cyberfact.
  Editor: Jim Brown.

                            V.I.R.U.S. WEEKLY

A "news in review" publication designed to keep your readers up to date
with the latest antiviral software releases, the latest major viral
programs released, conferences, seminars and gossip.

If your system distributes shareware, you need V.I.R.U.S. Weekly.

V.I.R.U.S. Weekly contains valuable information assembled by the expert
`Robert Slade'. Robert has been involved with BBSes and the online
community for more than 10 years, and founded the Vancouver Institute for
Research into User Security and is recognized as an expert and resource by
the international virus research community. He has specialized in `Virus'
related materials for over 8 years, and can be counted upon to provide
  accurate prevention and disinfection methodologies.

Get an ongoing "tutorial" in the "Slade's Journal" column, and an in
depth review of one antiviral product every week.

To gather all this information yourself you could spend three to four
hours a day on the virus related echoes, and requesting the latest VIRUS-L
digests: or you could spend twenty minutes a week and *know* that you are
up to date on the latest threats and protection! In fact, with the number of virus
related echoes, V.I.R.U.S. Weekly could pay for itself in reducing the phone
charges you'd need to pay to get them all.")

  Editor: Robert Slade.
