No bias here.
: 1. Users Love It
Onlooker do not. Earlier this year I watched a fellow passenger boot up
his laptop running Ubuntu. I came to two possible conclusions watching
the boot sequence from a few feet away. First, the guy was running a
laptop a bit older than my TRS-80 in the closet. Second, Ubuntu is the
slowest booting OS I have ever seen and gives Linux a bad name. It took
just shy of three minutes from power button to desktop splash/login
screen. My Windows XP box on a low end Dell boots up in around 30
seconds.
: 4. A Superlative Security Record
:
: Security is a top priority for Ubuntu, which has been rated No. 1 for
: security update quality and responsiveness in recent studies. Security
: updates are freely available to all users of Ubuntu, with no
: subscription required. Ubuntu is also conservative with updates; every
: change made to the operating system or to the base applications is
: peer reviewed for security. And of course, being an open source
: platform, Ubuntu inherits the positive security characteristics of
: Linux in general.

Uh, load this page and explain to me again how this is "superlative"?
