2 c LOW SODIUM CHICKEN BROTH
3 oz ELBOW MACARONI
1/2 ts DRIED CELERY LEAVES
1/2 ts DRIED OREGANO LEAVES
1 c LOW SODIUM STEWED TOMATOES
1 c CANNED GREEN BEANS
2 oz CHICK PEAS
1/4 ts GARLIC POWDER
1. IN A LARGE SAUCE PAN, BRING TO A BOIL, 1 CUP OF WATER AND THE
BROTH. REDUCE HEAT TO LOW. ADD MACARONI, CELERY AND OREGANO. SIMMER
FOR 4 MINUTES. STIR OCCASIONALLY. 2. ADD STEWED TOMATOES, GREEN
BEANS, CHICK PEAS AND GARLIC POWDER. SIMMER FOR 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL
MACARONI IS TENDER. STIR OCCASIONALLY. EACH SERVING PROVIDES: 1/4 PRO
EX., 1 BREAD EX., 1 VEGETABLE EX., 20 OP CAL PER SERVING: 136 CAL, 6
g PRO, 1 g FAT, 25 g CARB, 136 mg SODIUM, 0 mg CHOL
