      Title: Basic french vinaigrette

      Yield: 2 Servings
 
      2 tb White-wine vinegar or fresh
           -lemon juice
    1/2 ts Dijon-style mustard
    1/3 c  Olive oil
           Salt and pepper to taste
 
  In a bowl whisk together the vinegar, the mustard, and salt and
  pepper to taste, add the oil in a stream, whisking, and whisk the
  vinaigrette until it is emulsified.   Makes about 1/2 cup.
