Title: Chicken fat or butter cookies

           1 C. chicken fat or butter
           1 1/2 C. powdered sugar
           1 tsp. vanilla
           1 egg (unbeaten)
           2 1/2 C. flour
           1 tsp. baking soda
           1 tsp. cream of tartar
 
  Blend butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add flour, soda and cream of
  tartar. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15-18
  minutes.
