     16 oz Can unsweetened pineapple,
           -- crushed & drained **
      2 md Pears, peeled, cored & diced
      1 ts Vanilla extract
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
      1 ds Nutmeg

MMMMM-----------------------CRUMB TOPPING----------------------------
      3 tb Soy or safflower margarine
    2/3 c  Matzo meal
    1/3 c  Ground walnuts
    1/2 c  Light brown sugar **
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
           **PERSONAL NOTE From Ursula
           -Taylor - for diabetic use -
           -use pineapple packed in its
           -own syrup and use Brown
           -SugarTwin equal to 1/2 c
           -brown sugar..
  Preheat oven to 350F.
    Combine filling ingredients in a mixing bowl & pat into a 9-inch
  square baking pan.
    Melt margarine in a skillet & remove from heat. Stir in the
  remaining topping ingredients till evenly coated with the margarine.
  Sprinkle evenly over the top of the pineapple mixture. Bake 25 to 30
    This is used for Jewish Passover.
