      Title: Mock sausage and peppers

      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      1 tb Vegetable oil +
      1 ts Vegetable oil
    1/2 c  Green pepper; finely minced
    1/2 c  Onion; finely minced
  1 1/4 lb Ground turkey;
    1/4 ts Ground sage;
    1/4 ts Dried thyme;
    1/4 ts Dried marjoram;
    1/8 ts Ground savory;
    1/4 ts Pepper;
    1/2 ts Fennel seeds; crushed
    1/4 ts Salt;
 
  Heat oil in skillet, add peppers and onions and cook until tender,
  about 10 minutes. Cool. Combine peppers and onions with turkey and
  remaining ingredients, mixing well. Chill an hour or so to blend
  flavors. Form into 8 thin patties. Cook in nonstick skillet until
  lightly browned on both sides.
  
  Per serving: 26g protein, 19g fat, 3g carb., 271mg sodium, 95mg
  chol., 284 calories.
