      Title: Pepper burgers

      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      1 lb Very lean ground beef;
      1    Egg white;
    3/4 oz Wheat germ;
      1 c  Red and/or green pepper;
           -chopped finely
    1/4 c  Tomato sauce;
    1/4 ts Garlic powder;
    1/4 ts Dry mustard;
      1 pk Beef broth mix;
           Pepper to taste;
 
  Mix all ingredients, shape into 4 patties. Place on rack in broiler
  pan or on grill and cook 3 incehs from heat about 5 minutes per side,
  or until done to taste.
  
  Per serving: 23g protein, 16g fat, 6g carb., 423mg sodium, 70mg
  chol., 259 calories.
