Title: Everyday herb rice

Yield: 4 Servings
1 tb Dried onion flakes;
1/2 tb Dried celery flakes;
2 tb Dried parsley;
1/2 ts Dried garlic flakes;
1 tb Dried green pepper flakes;
1/2 ts Ground tumeric;
1 tb Chicken flavored granules;
-or bouillion
1 ts Sugar;
1/4 ts Salt;
1 pn Ground cloves;
1/2 c Wild OR brown rice;
2 1/2 c Water;
1 c Scallion; chopped green with
-some white
In a small bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. In a medium
saucepan, combine the rice, water, and the herb mixture. Bring to a
boil, partially cover, lower the heat, and simmer for 45 minutes, or
until the rice is cooked. Fluff with a fork. Fold in the scallions
and serve at once.
Per serving: 174 calories, 37g carb., 7g protein, 0mg chol., .6g/3%
fat.
