     12 lg Soda crackers, crushed
      6 sl Cheese, mild
           Butter
           Milk
           Egg
 
  Into a buttered casserole sprinkle crumbs of 4 of the crackers. Cut 2
  slices of cheese into bits and sprinkle over. Dot with butter. Repeat
  until all cracjker crumbs and cheese have been used. Cover with milk
  in which an egg has been beaten. Bake in moderate oven about 30
  minutes.
