Title: Shirred or baked eggs
Yield: 4 Servings
6 ea Eggs
6 tb Milk
1 1/2 tb Butter
2/3 c Soft bread crumbs
Salt and pepper
Break eggs carefully. Slip each egg into a well-oiled muffin tin or
ramekin which has been lined with soft crumbs. Add 1 tablespoon milk,
seasonings, and bits of butter to each egg. Bake in moderate oven
(375 F) until white is firm and yolk is coated with a thin, white
