Title: Soft custard
Yield: 1 Servings
1 c Milk, scalded
1 ea Egg
2 tb Sugar
1/4 ts Vanilla
Few grains salt
Beat egg slightly with fork. Add sugar and salt. Add milk gradually,
stirring constantly. Cook over hot water, stirring constantly, until
mixture coats a spoon. Remove from fire. Add flavoring. Cool quickly
to prevent over cooking which results in curdling. If curds form beat
