Title: Apricot nut loaf
Yield: 6 Servings
1 c Sugar
2 tb Shortening
3/4 c Milk
3/4 c Orange juice
4 ts Grated orange rind
3 c Flour
3 1/2 ts Baking powder
1 c Finely chopped dried
3/4 c Chopped nuts
Combine sugar, shortening and egg. Stir in milk, juice and rind. Sift
flour, baking powder, salt and add to other mixture. Combine apricots
and nuts; add to batter. Pour into greased loaf pan and let stand 20
minutes. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
