    1/2 c  Butter
      1 c  Sugar
      4    Eggs
      1 ts Vanilla
      1 cn Chocolate syrup
      1 c  Sifted flour
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 c  Chopped walnuts

      1 c  Sugar
      2 tb Butter
    1/4 c  Milk
      1 c  Semi-sweet chocolate chips
 
  Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and chocolate syrup. Beat
  well. Add dry ingredients. Beat together until well blended. Stir in
  nuts. Butter and flour 9x12-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25
  minutes.
  
  Frosting: Cook sugar, milk, and butter to full boil. Remove from
  heat. Add chocolate chips. Blend quickly. Spread on cake while hot.
