Title: Candied red chiles

      8 oz Medium hot New Mexico red
           -chiles (opened; seeded,
           -stems cut off; washed)
      6 c  Sugar
      1 c  Water
 
  M.Foster  Just tripped over this while cruising the
  web. Stirring bring the water & sugar to rolling boil, add chiles &
  cook until skins are tender. Puree with a little liquid, (leave it a
  little chunky)
