Title: Chimayo chile sauce (hl)

Yield: 1 Servings
6 Chimayo chilies, seeded and
-stemmed
1/2 md Yellow onion, sliced
2 Cloves garlic
2 c Water
1 Bay leaf
Salt to taste
Combine all ingredients except salt in a sauce pan and bring to a
boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and blend until very
smooth adding water if necessary. Salt to taste. Strain through fine
mesh strainer.
Yield: 6 servings
