      Title: Rice bavarian

      Yield: 8 Servings
 
      1 tb Gelatin
      2 c  Hot cooked rice
      1 c  Sugar
      1 ts Vanilla
  1 1/2 c  Milk
      1 c  Whipping cream
    1/4 ts Salt
    3/4 c  Chopped nuts
      8    Candied cherries, chopped
 
  Soften gelatin in milk.  Let stand 10 minutes. Dissolve over hot
  water. Add hot rice, sugar, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Cool. Add nuts,
  flavoring, and cherries.  Fold in stiffly whipped cream. Pour into
  molds. If desired, serve topped with whipped cream, candied cherries,
  and finely chopped nuts. 8 servings.
