      Title: Spam hot vegetable salad sandwiches

      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      6    Unsliced whole wheat buns
           -or Kaiser rolls
      1 cn SPAM Luncheon Meat, cubed
           -(7 oz)
      1 c  Shredded Monterey Jack
           -cheese
      1    Tomato, chopped
    1/2 c  Finely chopped broccoli
    1/2 c  Thinly sliced carrot
    1/4 c  Chopped onion
      2 tb Peppercorn ranch-style
           -salad dressing
 
  Heat oven to 350'F. Cut thin slice from top of each bun; reserve.
  Remove center from each bun, leaving a 1/2" wall. Combine remaining
  ingredients. Spoon into buns, pressing filling into buns. Top with
  reserved tops of buns. Wrap each sandwich tightly in aluminum foil.
  Bake 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.
