Title: Thrifty maple syrup

      1 c  Light corn syrup
    1/2 c  Brown sugar --  packed
    1/2 c  Water
    1/4 ts Maple flavoring
      1 tb Butter or margarine
 
  In a small saucepan, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar andwater;
  cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved. Add the
  maple flavoring and butter. Serve warm or cool. Makes 1 3/4 cups.
  Microwave Directions: Combine   the corn syrup, brown sugar and water
  in a 1-quart glass measurer. Microwave on 100 percent power for 3 to 4
         minutes, stirring once.  Add the maple flavoring and butter.
