“For Your Eyes Only” Privacy Policy

They say drastic times call for drastic measures. Here’s one, which won’t affect you if you choose to purchase this book. I present you with the most fascist privacy policy in the history of publishing. I do this to prevent the bootlegging of my work, or its dissemination in any form.

Following is the policy:

• Your purchase of or your obtaining by any means the material contained in this book constitutes your acceptance of this full and legally binding agreement and privacy policy.

• With your purchase, you obtain the right of unlimited perusal of its contents. This is about the only right you obtain, and it is non-transferable. All other rights, including republication, rebroadcasting, descriptions and accounts of this material, are retained exclusively by Snodgrass Publishing Group and its licensed agents and representatives. This book may not be resold or offered for sale in any way, shape or form. References to the manuscript being available for free or for resale anywhere will be treated as actual privacy infringement and shall expose you to a minimum liability of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND AMERICAN DOLLARS ($100,000.00 US), immediately due and payable to Snodgrass Publishing Group.

• You agree to give the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania state or federal courts full and absolute jurisdiction over any and all legal actions brought by or against you including, but not limited to, the event it is established that you violated, or assisted in the violation of, this privacy policy in any way, shape or form. In other words, any legal actions will occur in PA; I get home court advantage.

• You assume sole responsibility for any practice of hypnosis by you, and agree to hold harmless Ray Gordon and Snodgrass Publishing Group for any consequences which may arise from your use of the concepts and material in this manual, for which you assume sole practitioner’s responsibility, including, but not limited to, adherence to all local, state, federal, and international laws governing the use of hypnosis.

• Making recordings of any kind of the material contained in this book is expressly prohibited except with the prior written permission of Snodgrass Publishing Group. Any such recordings made shall be copied to Snodgrass, who has unlimited reproduction and distribution rights to the recordings and/or royalties as agreed. You are allowed to perform the scripts live at your discretion, provided you do so not for profit of any kind. Electronic documents will never be valid for permission in any way. Such permission for this and any other reproduction or dissemination must be written on regular paper in black ink, signed and notarized.

• Using this manuscript to teach hypnosis for profit or even not for profit is expressly prohibited unless each student in the course of study has also purchased a copy of this manuscript. Bulk discounts are available for hypnosis instructors and other teachers.

• Individuals who gain access to an unlicensed copy of Hypnosis Composition Theory immediately become liable for double its purchase price unless they immediately purchase a copy of the manuscript from Snodgrass or discard the copy immediately without reading any of the material contained herein.

• You agree not to “substantially reveal” or conspire to substantially reveal the contents of this manuscript. Comments regarding this manuscript should be restricted to a general nature about the overall content of the manuscript and its overall quality or your perception of its lack thereof. Specific or in-depth repetitions, discussions, or other commentary of the original material contained in this manuscript are strictly prohibited.

• Failure to comply with all provisions of this privacy policy will result in legal action against you, at your full expense, including court costs, attorney fees, and any other related expenses in enforcing this agreement.

• Failure by Snodgrass to enforce this agreement against any individual violator of the policy in no way relinquishes its right to enforce it in the future against other violators. Comments regarding this material by Snodgrass also in no way affect this agreement.

This is not a joke. This is a response to people who think writers are slaves to the internet and should work for free. The ability to easily copy material in no way conveys the right. This book was written for paying customers, not moochers. Distributing the material to others devalues the work, and really pisses me off. A copy of this policy has been posted to the Snodgrass website and shall remain there in perpetuity.
