VULNERABILITY SUMMARY
A potential vulnerability has been identified with HP OpenView Internet Services running Probe Builder. The vulnerability could be exploited remotely to create a Denial of Service (DoS). A successful exploit could cause the system running HP OpenView Internet Services to crash.

Probe Builder for HP OpenView Internet Services is a product of European Performance Systems Ltd. It had been supplied with HP OpenView Internet Services.

RESOLUTION

European Performance Systems Ltd. has provided a patch to resolve the vulnerability.

The patch is available from http://www.eps.eu.com/download/patches/pbpatch01.zip
