FOR YOU WHO HAVE A US. ROBOTICS SPORTSTER MODEM.

It's quite hard to know that most of the "Eliteboards" only have support for
the hst modulation. Here is now a REVOLUTIONARY SOLUTION. Your SPORSTER is
infact a  "USRobotics Courier 16800 HST Dual Standard" modem!!!! It's just
disabled in normal use. But if you change two adresses in the modems hardware
it will switch over to this "dualstandardmode" until you switch off your
modem. You just simply write down this in terminalmode:

ATGW03c6,22
ATGW05cd,2f

YES! Then you have a brand new modem for a value of nearly the double of the
original value!!!! So, US Robotics must do something about this or they have
to put a hardwarelock on they new Sportstermodem. If they doesn't do that
quickly they can not get their much more expensive DUALSTANDARD modem sold!
Well, if I haven't tried it I haven't beleived it.....but it's nothing but
true....
