Not sure weather this falls under phreaking, but either way, here is how to access the debug menu for most coke and ice-cream machines.

*NOTE* For all those who hate my ascii diagrams, please do not read on. *NOTE*

 
 
coke machine:

the top is 1 second is 2 third from top is 3, ect...

the order you press the buttons is as follows: 4, 2, 3, 1

then, the menu commands are as follows,
1 - enter
2 - up
3 - down
4 - return to last menu

the menu's are as follows
CASH - money in machine
|-CASH - amount of money
|-C1   - dunno
|-C2   - same (theres a bunch of these)

SALE - cokes sold
|-SALE - amount of cokes sold
|-S1   - same drill as CASH

RTN - returns you to coke machine mode

PIN - the serial number
(may not be pin, But its the only other menu.)


the ice cream machine is easy to get into as well.

anyways, you start with # then *, when you put in the wrong combo it beeps twice, and only once when you get it right.

The combo is always a pattern, because the ice cream guys arent even half as smart as linemen.

so it could be like #, *, 1, 5, 8 (a line)
or #, *, 2, 4, 6, 8

once inside the menu, the following commands are avalible

TOTALS or NON-RESETTABLE
|-exit

RESETTABLE
|-cycle through the diffrent kinds of ice cream
|-reset
  |-exit
|-exit

Nether of these allow you to get free stuff, but they make for a great trick.
