Background Hewlett-Packard Company has become aware of a defect in the the man(1) command. B. Fixing the problem The problem can be fully resolved by applying the appropriate patches to the system. For HP-UX release, 11.00: PHCO_23088, 11.04: PHCO_23178, 10.20: PHCO_23089, 10.24: PHCO_23178, 10.10: PHCO_23090, 10.01: PHCO_23091. Note: the HP-UX release 11.11 has the fix already included. C.
