PROBLEM:       A buffer overflow vulnerability exists involving the Solaris
               "/usr/lib/utmp_update" command.
PLATFORM:      Solaris versions 2.6, 7, 8, and 9
DAMAGE:        A local unprivileged user may be able to execute arbitrary code
               with root privileges.
SOLUTION:      Apply appropriate patches per Sun's Alert.

A local unprivileged user may be able to gain unauthorized root privileges 
due to a buffer overflow involving the Solaris "/usr/lib/utmp_update" 
command.
