PROBLEM

We learn that WMA and MP3 files that are played or just "pre-viewed"
via folder, file, mail or http browsing can overflow the player via bad
file attributes (which would contain the offending code).
SOLUTION
Microsoft has issued a fix for this vulnerability, it is available at:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS02-072.asp
In addition, the patch (Q329390) is available via:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
