CANADIAN PLANT TEST PREFIXES by Www.artofhacking.com Staff. Updated 2004/09/18 In Canada, every area code has at least one CO Code (or prefix) set aside for testing purposes. If you are looking for test numbers, these are the prefixes to scan, but be warned - you may not be able to access these prefixes outside their home area codes. If one prefix does not seem to be working, try another for your area code - some plant test codes are regional while others are area-code-wide. If none of the exchanges for your area seems to respond, try a few numbers with 1 plus the area code then the number. Just because you have to dial "1" doesn't necessarily mean you will be charged for the call. As with other prefixes, don't scan from home - there may be backdoors to 911, security and other numbers that you really don't want to be calling from home. Suggestions (Where NXX is the prefix you are scanning): NXX-00XX NXX-11XX NXX-99XX - These ranges commonly contain test and other interesting numbers in in-service CO Codes. NXX-X111 - Used often in Telus areas NXX-ANAC (2622) NXX-4TEL (4835) - 4Tel is a legacy counterpart to the DATU NXX-5632 - 5632 is a keypad diamond that appears frequently as a password, access code, etc. NXX-LMOS (5667) - same as NXX-LOOP NXX-DATU (3288) NXX-RNCC (7622) NXX-TEST (8378) - particularly in temporary test CO codes for newly-split NPAs .-----.----------------------------------------. | NPA | Listed Plant Test CO Codes | |-----|----------------------------------------| | 204 | 959 | | 250 | 958, 959 | | 289 | 958, 959 | | 306 | 958, 959 | | 403 | 958, 959 | | 416 | 958, 959 | | 418 | 320, 958, 959 | | 450 | 320, 958, 959 | | 506 | 559, 958, 959, 963, 964 | | 514 | 320, 958, 959 | | 519 | 958, 959 | | 604 | 550, 958, 959 | | 613 | 958, 959, 999 | | 647 | 958, 959 | | 705 | 958, 959 | | 709 | 958, 959, 992, 993, 994, 995 | | 778 | 958, 959 | | 780 | 551, 958, 959 | | 807 | 320, 958, 959, 997, 999 | | 819 | 320, 958, 959 | | 867 | 958, 959 | | 902 | 811, 958, 959, 999 | | 905 | 958, 959 | `-----"----------------------------------------' (C) 2004 Whirlwind Software. www.artofhacking.com
