Telcordia LERG file format specification
The local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG) is the
rosetta stone of the North American telephone system;
it is the database that enables switches to communicate
with tandems and with each other. At $10k/Quarter, a
LERG subscription is probably beyond the means of most
phreaks (and some corporations, who only subscribe every
other quarter). But if you should happen to inherit a
discarded LERG CD-ROM, you will need the information in
this document to write apps that use the LERG data.
