ATIS telephone numbers (April 2004)
These numbers are ATIS, Automated Terminal Information Service automated lines.
These are just a few major ones; most airports have them.
Their purpose is to inform pilots of weather and airport conditions and
are always simulcast* on VHF (because most pilots don't have their
phones on in the air).

* Actually, it's the other way around; all airports that have ATIS
broadcast it on VHF; some also have the dialup service. We say
"simulcast" because this text file is written from the point of view of
a phone scanner who may have stumbled on an ATIS line.
